I took a walk on the riverfront today in Downtown Evansville, and for the first time in a long time I felt inspired. I don't think I've ever gotten that big of an artistic burst. I didn't have a pad of paper handy so I couldn't write any wretched poetry or lyrics so I took some pictures. I plan on buying a big journal from a bookstore and filling it up with stuff like that. I also plan on going back to the riverfront at night sometime when the lights from the buildings downtown are reflecting off of the water as it ripples due to the passing Riverboat. Downtown Evansville has a totally different feel to it than the rest of the town. It seems to move at such a slower speed, its like an escape from the rest of the city. But yes, new pictures are up. Posting has been somewhat sporadic since I've started college now and have poopy amounts of free time to do fun things like write and photograph, all in due time though. In the meantime go look at awesome art done by awesome people like

Broken Glass and Shattered Souls.
This I think was in the early 90's, when video was still kinda new and digital camcorders weren't affordable and available to everyone.
Anyway, your journal entry about using a cell phone and how great art can come from anywhere (I guess you stated the inverse, that great picture quality doesn't necessarily equal great art) reminded me of it.
I'll ask my professors what her name was.
